Family Fun 101

Start with a cute little group of buggers.
Add food,
A little shopping spree,
And a few less expensive forms of entertainment.
Let your 5 year old take pictures,
And act goofy for a while.
Throw in a train ride,
And a few games of Yahtzee,
And you're on the right track.
Add some shooting,
of a variety of sorts,
But don't forget the safety instructions.
Grab your new pet bunny Pirate,
Some doughnuts,

And you're all set.
Wash up,

And remember...
The Family Who Plays Together...Stays Together!

Self Portrait

Do you take pictures of yourself? I don't. Ever. It just doesn't ever cross my mind to hold out the camera and snap, unless someone else is in the picture with me. But some people asked to see my birthday haircut, and Spencer's shots looked funny to me. Something about the angle. Because he's so much taller than me, maybe? Anyway, I took matters into my own hands.
But I just couldn't get it right.
Maybe I wasn't taking it seriously enough.
Maybe.

Oh there we go.
That was hard work!

SpOOky

We had a SPOOKY Halloween! We got a visit from a black cat,
a witch,
a vampire,
and Frankenstein!
Spooky indeed!

Masquerade

Masquerade!
(Can you hear the song from Phantom in your head every time you hear that word like I do?)
Spence and I had so much fun going to a Masquerade ball with my sister Sarah and her husband Luke. I've never done anything like it. It's fun to get dressed up and go out. When's the last time you got dressed up? I mean REALLY dressed up. I think for me it was senior prom! I hope we can make this a tradition each Halloween!

Joseph

Meet my new husband. His name is Joseph, and he has an Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat.

Spencer was crazy amazing in the show! He was like a super star, every night after the show he was signing autographs, taking pictures with strangers, and getting mind blowing compliments about how great he was. The best part was that when people found out I was his wife I always got, "*Gasp* YOU'RE Joseph's wife!" I might as well have been famous by association.
Tonight was the cast party. I had such a fun time making these yummy treats for it!

Here's a little peek for those of you who didn't get the chance to see it.
Isn't he great?! Playing Joseph was one of his dreams come true. I'm so proud of him!
